A day may move under the pavilion for weather. We text families when the plan changes.

Rain, heat and cold

A rain day is still a camp day

The pavilion has a roof and open sides, so rain days stay outdoors without getting wet. We move the long block under it, bring the nets and journals along, and wait out thunder together.

On hot days the trail blocks move into shade and the creek, and on cold mornings we start by walking.

  • Ponchos and boots are welcome
