The team

The adults on the trail

Every group walks with two adults. These three plan the weeks and are at the trailhead each morning.

    Director and lead naturalist

    Ren plans the weeks, walks the trail before camp each morning and answers the phone. He leads the badge signings on Fridays.

    Chenxi leads the plant walks and the creek mornings. She keeps the field guides and the journals, and she is the first in the water.

    Amancio walks with the oldest group and teaches the knots and the compass. He knows the park's paths by heart.
